Amlodipine is a 1,4-dihydropyridine-derivative calcium-channel blocking Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic and antihypertensive agent. Valsartan is an angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist (also agent with an intrinsically long duration of action. referred to as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB)). Valsartan also is commercially available in fixed combination with sacubitril, a neprilysin inhibitor.
