Hydroxyzine
Neuro/Psych-Anticholinergic effects may cause sedation, worsen cognitive impairment and increase fall risk. Maximum recommended geriatric dose 50mg/day for as short a duration as possible. Gastrointestinal-May cause or worsen pre-existing constipation. Urogenital-Best avoided in patients with urinary retention from any cause. Cardiovascular-Risk for Torsades de pointes. Follow QTc intervals.
