- By Indication
-citric acid 10 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (10 meq) by oral route once daily dissolved in 2-3 ounces of cold juice or ice water and then drink
-citric acid 20 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (20 meq) by oral route 4 times per day dissolved in 3-4Ounces of cold juice or ice water and then drink
-citric acid 25 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (25 meq) dissolved in 120-240 ml of cold water by oral route once daily
Klor-Con/EF 25 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (25 meq) dissolved in 120-240 ml of cold water by oral route once daily
10 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (10 meq) by oral route once daily dissolved in 2-3 ounces of cold juice or ice water and then drink
20 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (20 meq) by oral route 4 times per day dissolved in 3-4Ounces of cold juice or ice water and then drink
25 mEq effervescent tablet
- 1 tablet (25 meq) dissolved in 120-240 ml of cold water by oral route once daily

Renal-Decreased doses may be necessary in advanced renal dysfunction. Monitor serum potassium levels more closely. Gastrointestinal-Increased risk for gastritis.
