Efficacy and safety of Centruroides (scorpion) immune F(ab')2 (equine) in pediatric patients are comparable to that in adults. In clinical trials of Centruroides (scorpion) immune F(ab')2 (equine), 78% of patients were children ranging from younger than 1 month to 18 years of age.

It is not known whether Centruroides (scorpion) immune F(ab')2 (equine) is distributed into milk. Caution is advised if the antivenom is administered in nursing women.

Efficacy and safety of Centruroides (scorpion) immune F(ab')2 (equine) have not been studied specifically in geriatric patients; however, 77 patients in clinical trials were older than 65 years of age and efficacy and safety in these adults were considered comparable to that of the overall patient population.
