Reports of hypothyroidism, LV pressure changes. No safety and efficacy in neonates. Increased risk of adverse event with underlying asthma, hyper allergenic, congestive heart failure, serum creatinine > 1.5 mg/dL.

Renal-Elderly are more sensitive to adverse effects. Recommend adequate hydration before and after drug administration to decrease risk for contrast induced acute kidney injury.
