- Anorexia from HIV
- Cancer chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
5 mg/mL oral solution
- 4.2 mg/m2 by oral route 1-3 hours prior to chemotherapy, then every 2-4 hrs after chemo as needed, for a total of 4-6 doses daily
Anorexia from HIV
- 0.42 milliliter (2.1 mg) by oral route 2 times per day
- 0.84 milliliter (4.2 mg) by oral route 2 times per day
- 1.68 milliliters (8.4 mg) by oral route 2 times per day

General-Elderly may be more sensitive to the neuropsychiatric and postural hypotensive effects. Consider a lower starting dose. Neuro/Psych-Psychoactive effects including cognitive impairment and altered mental state, and possible drug-dependence requires close monitoring. Consider patient fall risk.
