Verapamil
Cardiovascular-Elderly are more sensitive to blood pressure lowering effects and may have lower drug clearance. Start at lower doses and titrate upward more slowly. May promote fluid retention and exacerbate heart failure. Gastrointestinal-may cause or worsen pre-existing constipation.
