Neuro/Psych-Anticholinergic effects may cause sedation, worsen cognitive impairment and increase fall risk. Non-sedating agents preferred. Gastrointestinal-Avoid with gastrointestinal ileus. May cause or worsen pre-existing constipation. Genitourinary-Best avoided in patients with urinary retention from any cause.
