Renal-Active metabolites excreted. No renal dosing information available. Slow dose escalation in initial treatment. Monitor overdose symptoms: hypotension, somnolence, bradycardia, intra-atrial and ventricular conduction disturbances. Hepatic-Highly metabolized. Decrease by 20-30% for hepatic impairment. Cardiovascular-Progressive AV block and QRS widening observed with increasing doses. Avoid use in patients with sick sinus syndrome.
