Neuro/Psych-Not recommended in the elderly. Inc risk of tardive dyskinesia. CNS effects; sedation, cognitive impairment and inc fall risk. Inc risk of stroke, cognitive decline, and death when used with senile dementia. Endocrine-May exacerbate or cause SIADH or hyponatremia. Cardiovascular-May cause bradycardia, orthostatic hypotension at higher doses. Gastrointestinal-May cause or worsen constipation. Urogenital-Avoid in patients w/ urinary retention.
