Abortion
- Infuse 10 milliunit/minute by continuous infusion route do not exceed30 units in a 12-hour period

Incomplete abortion
- Infuse 10 milliunit/minute by continuous infusion route do not exceed30 units in a 12-hour period

Induction of labor
- Infuse 0.5 milliunit/minute by continuous infusion route ; increase in 1 to 2 milliunit/minute increments at 30 to 60 minute intervals until a response is observed
Postpartum hemorrhage
- Infuse 20 milliunit/minute by intravenous route after delivery of theinfant(s); do not exceed 10 units
- Inject 40 milliunit/minute by intravenous route after delivery of theinfant(s); do not exceed 10 units
